Hands-on STEM projects turn abstract ideas into experiences children can see, test and improve. BrainyBloomClub projects are designed for parents and educators who want meaningful learning without needing specialist technical knowledge.
Find the right STEM project
Choose activities by learning stage, available time, materials, difficulty and adult-support level. Each complete project should explain what the child will learn, how to carry it out safely and how to extend the challenge.
- Science experiments: investigate forces, matter, energy, living systems and the environment.
- Engineering challenges: design, build, test and improve structures or machines.
- Coding projects: create games, animations, websites and simple programs.
- Robotics builds: combine mechanisms, sensors, electronics and code.
- Mathematics activities: make patterns, measurement, geometry and data practical.
The BrainyBloomClub project standard
Projects are structured around recommended age, learning objective, preparation time, materials and quantities, cost, safety precautions, instructions, success criteria, discussion questions, easier adaptations and extension challenges.
Adults are learning partners
The adult’s role is not to provide every answer. Ask the child what they notice, what they predict, why something happened and what they would change. Productive struggle, testing and redesign are central parts of STEM learning.
