HTML & CSS Web Development — Build Your First Real Website

HTML & CSS Web Development — Build Your First Real Website

$394.00

Every website on the internet starts with HTML and CSS. In this 10-session live course, your child aged 11–15 will build real, working websites from scratch — and by the final session, publish one for the whole world to see.

Every website your child has ever visited was built with HTML and CSS.

Google. YouTube. Wikipedia. Their school website. Every single one started with the same two languages your child is about to learn.

HTML & CSS Web Development is a 10-session live one-on-one course for children aged 11–15 that teaches the exact skills professional web developers use every single day. Not drag-and-drop website builders. Not templates. Real code, written by hand, turning a blank screen into a working website.

By the final session, your child will have built and published a personal website that is genuinely live on the internet — something they can show their friends, share with family, and add to a school portfolio. That is not a simulation. That is a real achievement.

What your child will build:

🌐 A fully structured webpage using real HTML

🎨 A styled, designed page using CSS colours, fonts, and layouts

📱 A responsive page that looks good on both desktop and mobile

🧭 A multipage website with navigation links between pages

🚀 A personal portfolio website published live on the internet

By the end of this course, your child will:

✅ Write HTML to structure any webpage from scratch

✅ Use CSS to style, colour, and design pages professionally

✅ Understand how the web actually works behind every website

✅ Build multipage websites with working navigation menus

✅ Make pages that adapt to different screen sizes

✅ Use browser developer tools to inspect and debug websites

✅ Publish a real website live on the internet for free

✅ Have a foundation that leads directly to JavaScript and full web development

Why web development for children:

Web development is one of the most in-demand skills on earth. But beyond careers — learning HTML and CSS teaches children to think in structure and design simultaneously.

They learn that presentation matters, that organisation matters, and that what they create can be seen by anyone, anywhere in the world. That sense of real-world impact is unlike anything else in education.

Why one-on-one at this level:

Web development involves two languages working together at the same time. In a group class, when a student’s page looks wrong, and they don’t know why, they sit confused while the lesson moves on. In a one-on-one session, Anthony looks at the code directly, spots the issue in seconds, and turns the mistake into a teaching moment that sticks for life.

About our tutor:

He is an IB PYP/MYP certified STEM educator based in Japan with an MSc in Cybersecurity. He has built web development curricula for secondary-age students across international schools and understands exactly where young learners get confused — and how to make it click.
